Анотація
Проаналізовано сутність завдань та функцій нагляду та контролю за охороною, захистом, використанням та відтворенням лісів в Україні. Визначено екологічну безпеку як стратегічну мету відповідного нагляду та контролю; розглянуто окремі завдання та функції нагляду та контролю за охороною, захистом, використанням та
відтворенням лісів в Україні.
The article emphasizes that the basis of the protection, protection, use and reproduction of forests in Ukraine is ecological safety as an all-encompassing category, which involves the protection of the entire environment, an integral part of which forests are the «lungs of the planet». It is noted that ensuring environmental safety is the strategic goal of supervision and control over the protection, protection, use and reproduction of forests in Ukraine. Attention is focused on the fact that the environmental safety of the enterprise is also an important component of environmental safety. This component takes on special importance in the conditions of martial law, when the uninterrupted functioning of critical infrastructure facilities is the basis of ensuring the national security of the state. It has been established that the tasks of supervision and control over the protection, protection, use and reproduction of forests in Ukraine include forest certification, which acts as a tool for independent monitoring and verification that forests are used in accordance with agreed criteria; prevention and counteraction of corruption in the researched area; ensuring the environmental safety of certain critical infrastructure facilities, preventing fires in forest areas adjacent to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant; forest monitoring. Such important functions of supervision and control over protection, protection, use and reproduction of forests in Ukraine as innovative and educational are considered. The essence of the innovative function is the constant search for new approaches to the implementation of the tasks outlined above in the course of scientific understanding and development of innovative solutions, approaches, methods, and specific measures aimed at improving supervision and control over the protection, protection, use and reproduction of forests in Ukraine. The educational function involves increasing the environmental awareness of the population as a guarantee of the formation of sustainable models of environmentally friendly behavior.

Определена экологическая безопасность как стратегическая цель соответствующего надзора и контроля; рассмотрены отдельные задачи и функции надзора и контроля за охраной, защитой, использованием и воспроизводством лесов в Украине.
