Анотація
В рамках дослідження проблеми кримінально-правового захисту честі та гідності особи проаналізовано стан визначення понять «честь» і «гідність», наголошено на необхідності криміналізації окремих видів правопорушень у сфері захисту честі та гідності особи, зокрема коли
йдеться про необхідність належної охорони честі та гідності працівника поліції.
As part of studying the problem of criminal and legal protection of honor and dignity of a person, the author has analyzed the state of determining the concepts of “honor” and “dignity”, has emphasized on the necessity of criminalization of certain types of crimes in the sphere of protecting honor and dignity of a person, in particular, on the special importance of the protection of the honor and dignity of a police officer as a defender of honor and dignity of society. It has been noted that police officers are not explained the fact that they have the right to the protection of honor and dignity, to the compensation for moral damages, restoration of violated personal rights. A person who has submitted biased information regarding a police officer often remains unpunished. The role of various services in the field of the protection of the honor and dignity of police officers, as well as personnel recruitment of the latter at the positions of the National Police of Ukraine has been researched. The need to consider a libel and criminal insult as crimes against the honor and dignity of a person, the withdrawal of this category from the shadow of civil law have been determined.
В рамках исследования проблемы уголовно-правовой защиты чести и достоинства личности проанализировано состояние определения понятий «честь» и «достоинство», настаивается на необходимости криминализации отдельных видов правонарушений в сфере защиты чести и достоинства личности, в частности, когда речь идёт о необходимости надлежащей охраны чести и достоинства работника полиции.
