Дано загальне поняття інформаційно-аналітичного забезпечення, а також розглянуто дискусійні питання щодо його визначення як у теоретичному, так і у прикладному аспектах.The state of scientific research of some aspects of informational and analytical guaranteeing is analyzed in the article. The general concept of informational and analytical guaranteeing, as well as discussions about its designation, both in theoretical and practical areas is provided. Necessity of realizing the system of informational and analytical guaranteeing while conducting prevention of criminal offences among minors is grounded. Besides, extended classification of informational and analytical guaranteeing is presented. Statistical proof of new forms of informational and analytical guaranteeing within law-enforcement activity, namely by operative units of internal affairs agencies in the sphere of counteracting juvenile delinquency is provided. Different points of view of scientists on classifying the elements of informational and analytical guaranteeing, their specific characteristics, the need to use in the practice of law enforcement agencies, especially within operative units, as well as author’s own opinion on these issues are provided. Some issues of the need to analyze the operational situation as an element of informational and analytical guaranteeing aiming to prevent unlawful offenses committed by minors by operative units of internal affairs agencies.Проанализированы отдельные аспекты информационно-аналитического обеспечения противодействия молодежной преступности оперативными подразделениями ОВД.
