Зосереджено увагу на різноманітних тлумаченнях поняття «соціальний капітал», а також виокремлено їх спільні домінанти.The last decade is characterized by close attention from both theorists and practitioners of various social sciences to the issue of social asset. The theme of social asset is studied in many sociological concepts and theories that are based on the paradigms of classical sociology. This is natural, since the problem is directly related to one of the basic issues of sociology, namely it reveals the possibilities of social subject rationally make special relationship of social reality. Moreover, fundamental problems of sociology concerning the relationship of people due to the social life are related to the issues of social asset. Nowadays there is no doubt that the analysis of social asset’s essence and the mechanisms of its impact on key social processes has both theoretical and practical importance. It is because its specific mechanisms of managing social processes are developed; opportunities to influence on the character, essence and sustainability of social interaction are defined and used.Осуществлён теоретико-методологический анализ понятия «социальный капитал» как одной из наиболее важных категорий обществоведения.
