Проаналізовано етимологічні, семантичні, філософські підходи до тлумачення категорії «мета». Розглянуто позиції вчених-правознавців до трактування терміну «мета». Підкреслено, що в якості мети захисту об’єктів критичної інфраструктури слід розглядати забезпечення їх безперебійного та стійкого функціонування.In the article, it has been emphasized that the establishment of the ultimate goal of the relevant activity, including that aimed at protecting critical infrastructure, will provide a deeper understanding of its essence and content, to determine the most important aspects of its legal nature. It has been noted that the correct formation of the purpose of protection of critical infrastructure will allow to predict the appropriate vector of development of these public relations, to increase the efficiency of their subjects. Etymological, semantic, philosophical approaches to the interpretation of the category “goal” have been analyzed. The positions of legal scholars on the interpretation of the term “goal” have been considered. The concept, essence and content of legal and administrative-legal regulation have been clarified. It has been emphasized that the purpose of protection of critical infrastructure should be considered to ensure their smooth and sustainable operation. It has been proposed to clarify this goal through the prism of protection activities, in particular to define it as one that is to ensure the state of protection of critical infrastructure, which is their smooth and sustainable operation. It has been noted that the formulation of the purpose of protection of critical infrastructure in this way is successful, because, firstly, it is concise, and therefore easy to perceive the subjects of these public relations; secondly, it concerns only the activity of protection of critical infrastructure, that is, it does not affect related public relations, because “ensuring the supply of vital goods and services to the population, society, business and the state” is not exclusively related to these activities; third, in this case, the purpose of protecting critical infrastructure is separated from the tasks aimed at achieving it.Отмечено, что правильное формирование цели защиты объектов критической инфраструктуры позволит спрогнозировать надлежащий вектор развития данных общественных отношений, повысить эффективность деятельности их субъектов. Проанализированы этимологические, семантические, философские подходы к толкованию категории «цель». Рассмотрены позиции ученых-правоведов к трактовке термина «цель». Подчеркнуто, что в качестве цели защиты объектов критической инфраструктуры следует рассматривать обеспечения их бесперебойного и устойчивого функционирования.ukАдміністративне право та процес.
