Розглянуто формування професійних компетентностей у військовослужбовців Національної гвардії України підрозділів спеціального призначення до дій у гірських умовах з урахуванням порядку побудови ешелонування та їх всебічного забезпечення необхідним спеціальним альпіністським спорядженням.The current stage of reforming Ukraine’s security forces and special services to NATO standards involves modernizing existing law enforcement training programs for Special Forces units, including their mountain training programs, which will further ensure the quality of their assigned tasks in mountain conditions. Search and implementation of modern world approaches in the system of professional training of law enforcement officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the direction of developing the order of separation, their equipment and providing the necessary equipment, will transform the system of professional training of Special Forces in accordance with today’s requirements. The main purpose of the work is to form professional competencies of Servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) of special purpose units to act in mountain conditions, taking into account the order of construction of separation and their comprehensive provision with the necessary special climbing equipment. The study was organized in the period from October 2019 to June 2020 (used training facilities: the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine and the Training and Research Institute of Physical Culture and Sports and Health Technologies of the National University of Defense of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovsky). Continuous progress in the development, production of equipment and clothing in modern world realities is due to the constant development of technology, which requires modern law enforcement officers relevant knowledge and the development of military-applied competencies. It should also be emphasized that the use of different types of equipment and the basic principles of its use are changing synchronously with the forms of modern armed conflicts (local wars). This must be taken into account when building a system of professional training of law enforcement officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine of special purpose units. It is also important for the soldiers of the Special Forces to know the tactical components of the use of weapons, military equipment and appropriate equipment to perform tasks on purpose in the mountains. As a result of the research, NGU servicemen of special purpose units have formed important militaryapplied professional competencies necessary for performing assigned tasks in mountain conditions (taking into account the order of construction of separation and their comprehensive provision with the necessary special mountaineering equipment).Зазначено, що сучасний етап реформування силових структур та спеціальних служб України до стандартів НАТО передбачає модернізацію чинних програм професійної підготовки правоохоронців підрозділів спеціального призначення, зокрема програми їх гірської підготовки, що надалі забезпечить якісне виконання ними завдань за призначенням у гірських умовах.
