Дотепер не розроблено українськомовних варіантів цього опитувальника, хоча його діагностичний потенціал значний і використовується в правоохоронних органах за рубежем. В статті розкрито теоретичні основи і структуру експериментального дослідження, в якому взяли участь співробітники Національної поліції, наведено текст опитувальника українською мовою, ключі, охарактеризовано шкали. Представлено психометричні параметри і середньостатистичні тестові норми адаптованого опитувальника. Результати дослідження довели значний діагностичний потенціал опитувальника «Міні-Мульт» і доцільність його використання у процесі психологічного забезпечення діяльності Національної поліції.The article is devoted to the issue of Ukrainian-language adaptation of the common psychodiagnostic method "Mini-Mult” within the framework of improving the system of psychological support of work with the staff of the National Police of Ukraine. The method has been used by psychologists since the middle of 1960s for professional selection and psychological support of staff of many organizations, including law enforcement agencies. There are no Ukrainian-language versions of this questionnaire in our country yet, although its structure and diagnostic capabilities are suitable for use in state law enforcement agencies. Purpose. The purpose of the article is a) to translate the text of the questionnaire from English into Ukrainian; b) to conduct a survey involving more than three hundredemployees of the National Police of Ukraine from various departments; c) to find out the average test norms and the main psychometric characteristics of the adaptedquestionnaire (Mini-Mult-U).Methods. The main research methods were: a) the analysis of statements of the Inventory in order to determine the compliance of statements to certain scales of the questionnaire and translate it’s statements into Ukraine; b) testing of National Police officers in order to obtain the results for men and women; c) statistical methods in order to determine the main psychometric characteristics of the adaptedMini-Mult-U. Originality. For the first time in the article the adaptation of the Mini-Multquestionnaire in Ukrainian was carried out. The statements of the original Mini-Mult variant allowed to single out those that clearly belong to certain scales, which turned out to be the most understandable to Ukrainian-speaking respondents; the statements were translated from English into Ukrainian. Also in the article the average test norms are presented, as well as the main psychometric characteristics of the adaptedMini-Mult-U- criterion and construct validity, reliability (retest and parallel forms), internal consistency of scales, etc.).Thus the adapted Mini-Mult-U questionnaire provides a comprehensive psychological diagnosis of a number of important individual psychological characteristics, included in eight main categories: hypochondria, depression, hysteria, impulsivity, rigidity, anxiety, schizoidness, optimism.Conclusion.
