The main problem addressed by the study is the insufficiency of the existing legislation regulating this area, especially in the context of the rapid development of military technologies, global challenges, as well as martial law and external aggression by Russia against Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to provide an in-depth analysis of the legal framework, identify the main gaps and problems, and develop recommendations for their solution. The study makes a significant contribution to the understanding of the current challenges and opportunities facing Ukraine in the field of venture capital investment in military technologies. The authors review existing regulations in detail, analyze their effectiveness, and point out key areas for improvement, including updating the legal framework, protecting intellectual property, stimulating innovation, and attracting investment. Particular attention is paid to the impact of martial law and external challenges that change priorities in the defense sector and require adaptation of the legal system.
