Проаналізовано поняття «саморегуляція», мету саморегуляції поведінки та критерії її ефективності. Проведено порівняльний аналіз показників саморегуляції співробітників підрозділів Національної поліції та Національної гвардії України. Визначено сильні й слабкі сторони регуляторних здібностей учасників дослідження, надано рекомендації щодо вдосконалення саморегуляції.Fulfillment of duty and military tasks is emotionally intense, and so it often leads to a state of mental stress and various stress and regulatory disorders and reduces the effectiveness of law enforcement officers’ activities. Self-adjustment is inherent to any living organism; it is a fundamental feature that provides accessories, preservation and development of different forms of life and success in general and their interaction with the world. In terms of fulfilling duties within emergencies, this property is a priority in mental activity of police officer, because both efficiency and success of military tasks and individual well-being and stress of the subject depend on the self-adjustment of behavior. The nature of self-adjustment of the officers of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine has been researched. The research methodology – is the questionnaire “The Style of Self-Regulation of Behavior” by V. I. Morosanova. It has been revealed that the most developed links of self-adjustment in the sampling is “Planning”, “Modeling” and “Evaluation of Results”; less developed are “Programming” and “Flexibility”; the indicator “Independence” was practically not developed. Although the officers of the Battalion of patrol police of special purpose “Kharkiv” have fewer indicators of self-regulation, which were highly estimated, but points according to the indicators were distributed more evenly and perfectly on all the scales; while independence is still estimated slightly lower than officers of the military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine have. Statistical significance of differences between the groups of the Battalion of patrol police of special purpose “Kharkiv” and the military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine under the overall level of self-control’s indicator (P=0,013; р≤0,05) has been found out; it is higher within the first group. In both groups, there is a low-level indicator of the self-adjustment of “Independence”.Описаны особенности саморегуляции поведения сотрудников правоохранительных органов, которые выполняли служебно-боевые задания в нетипичных условиях. Проанализированы понятие «саморегуляция», цель саморегуляции поведения и критерии её эффективности. Проведён сравнительный анализ показателей саморегуляции сотрудников подразделений Национальной полиции и Национальной гвардии Украины.
