Наведено авторське бачення щодо перспектив модернізації правового регулювання обмежень в діяльності правоохоронних органів. Наголошено, що задля уникнення негативного впливу на працівників правоохоронних органів набуває важливого значення питання щодо врегулювання особливостей користування соціальними мережами в Інтернет-середовищі. За цих обставин працівники правоохоронних органів, в першу чергу, слідчих та оперативних підрозділів, не повинні ідентифікувати свою належність до цих органів, робити загальновідомими відомості про себе, образ та спосіб життя, інформацію про своє місце проживання, туристичні маршрути тощо.The relevance of the article lies in the fact that the formation of an effective law enforcement function of the state is impossible without the presence of appropriate legislation, which is characterized by legal integrity and purity, as a result of which the guarantee of human rights and freedoms, the rule of law, the possibility of direct application of constitutional norms and, ultimately, clear and understandable framework of law enforcement agencies. The key to the successful functioning of law enforcement agencies should be a stable regulatory framework and clearly defined tasks, goals, and functions of law enforcement agencies. They make it possible to introduce such restrictions in the activities of law enforcement agencies, which will always be strictly observed, and will not have features of spontaneity, situationality, or recklessness. Touching on the problems of applied aspects of improving legal restrictions in the activities of law enforcement agencies, it is impossible to avoid the topic of the perspective of their further modernization (qualitative renewal) at the regulatory level, due to the fact that the evolution of the law enforcement system determines the complication of the institutional basis of law enforcement agencies, the relationships between them, as well as a clear demarcation competencies between specific law enforcement agencies. The article, based on the analysis of the scientific views of scientists and the norms of the current legislation, outlines the problems of legal regulation of restrictions in the activities of law enforcement agencies. The author’s vision regarding the prospects of modernization of the legal regulation of restrictions in the activities of law enforcement agencies is given. It was emphasized that in order to avoid a negative impact on law enforcement officers, the issue of regulating the specifics of using social networks in the Internet environment becomes important. Under these circumstances, employees of law enforcement agencies, primarily investigative and operational units, should not identify their affiliation with these agencies, make public information about themselves, image and lifestyle, information about their place of residence, tourist routes, etc.Обозначены проблемы правового регулирования ограничений в деятельности правоохранительных органов.
