Гендерний аспект особистісно-професійної здійсненності поліцейських

Abstract

Запропоновано теоретичний аналіз особистісної та професійної здійсненності в контексті поліцейської діяльності та гендерних особливостей поліціантів. Надано авторське поняття «особистісно-професійна здійсненність». Цей феномен розуміється як безперервний простір особистісної реалізованості суб’єкта в житті та самореалізації в професійній діяльності, цілісне функціонування яких розкриває унікальний напрям життєздійснення особистості.

The article offers a theoretical analysis of personality’s and professional fulfillmentity in the context of police activity and gender characteristics of police officers. The scientific achievements of Ukrainian and foreign scientists regarding the selected issues are cited. In the field of psychology, two related phenomena “professional self-fulfillment” and “personality’s fulfillmentity” are widespread. We, in the current study, offer the author’s concept of “personality’sprofessional fulfillmentity”. We understand this phenomenon as a continuous space of the subject’s personal realization in life and selfrealization in professional activity, the integral functioning of which reveals the unique direction of the personality’s life fulfillment. The purpose of the study was to reveal the gender specificity of the personality’sprofessional fulfillmentity of police officers. The research subjects were 120 police officers who were divided into two groups – women and men. Each group consisted of 60 people. To achieve the goal, the author’s method “Diagnostics of the personality’s-professional fulfillmentity of police officers” was used. Mathematical and statistical processing was carried out using Student’s t-test. It was empirically established that the personality’s-professional fulfillmentity of police officers, regardless of gender, is akind of regulator between the personal and professional spheres in the implementation of a person’s life plan. Female police officers have been diagnosed with the ability to adequately perceive life events, the ability to assess their impact, draw conclusions and use the received information as effectively as possible. These subjects are aware of their role and importance in this profession, share the organization’s values, but try to avoid situations that require quick decision-making. In the group of male police officers, it was established that these respondents are concerned with the importance of their professional activity, clearly understand the meaning of their profession, feel their influence on work results, are ready to overcome difficulties and make decisions.

Дано авторское понятие «личностно-профессиональная осуществимость». Этот феномен понимается как непрерывное пространство личностной реализуемости субъекта в жизни и самореализации в профессиональной деятельности, целостное функционирование которых раскрывает уникальное направление жизнеосуществления личности.
