Еволюція методів навчання іноземної мови та їх використання у закладах вищої освіти

Abstract

В статті ретроспективно розглядається методика викладання іноземної мови, що використовується викладачами закладів вищої освіти з метою формування у студентів іншомовної комунікативної компетентності, яка необхідна для успішного фахового спілкування і вирішення певних комунікативних задач в реальних життєвих ситуаціях. Дослідження проводиться у напрямку розгляду традиційних і нових методів навчання іноземних мов, визначення переваг і недоліків цих методів, окреслення тенденцій їх розвитку з впровадженням інформаційно-комунікаційних технології у навчальний процес.The article retrospectively deals with the methodology of teaching foreign languages utilized by teachers in higher education institutions with the aim of fostering students' foreign language communicative competence necessary for successful professional communication and addressing specific communicative tasks in real-life situations. The research is conducted in the direction of examining traditional and new methods of teaching foreign languages, determining the advantages and disadvantages of these methods, outlining trends in their development with the introduction of information and communication technologies into the educational process
