Емоційний інтелект і моделі поведінки керівників-органів внутрішніх справ у стресових ситуаціях

Abstract

Стаття присвячена висвітленню взаємозв’язку емоційного інтелекту і моделей поведінки керівників органів внутрішніх справ у стресових ситуаціях.The article is devoted to description of interconnection between human emotional intelligence and behavioral coping models (strategies) of Police managers in the situations of stress. For leaders with low, middle and high level of ЕІ the prevailing models of behaviour are analysed. It is not educed substantial differences in advantage of structural coping strategies in groups with the different level of ЕІ, most differences show up in the choice of unproductive models of coping behaviour. The higher is an emotional intellect of Police leade, the richer is behavioral repertoire, the less it depends on impulsive actions; a leader can overcome stress situations by means of socially acceptable actions and avoid the use of asocial, aggressive models of coping behaviour. High ЕІ allows to apply the structural, productive, positive behavioral models in the situation of stress. As a result of not enough ЕІ a Police leader is not able to adequately estimate, understand and manage with his own emotions and emotions of other’s and give advantage to more primitive destructive coping-strategies.Статья посвящена рассмотрению взаимосвязи эмоционального интеллекта и моделей поведения руководителей органов внутренних дел в стрессовых ситуациях.
