Емоційний інтелект як складова частина професійної компетентності курсантів як майбутніх офіцерів поліції

Abstract

Розглянуто сутність поняття «емоційний інтелект». Визначено його вплив на розвиток емоційної та професійної компетентностей курсантів як майбутніх працівників поліції та на ефективність їхньої професійної діяльності. Зазначено, що раціональна організація навчально-пізнавальної діяльності сприяє якісному формуванню і розвитку у майбутніх працівників поліції емоційного інтелекту як складової частини їхньої професійної компетентності. Це позитивно впливає на результати практичної професійної роботи правоохоронців із різними категоріями населення, а також на власне самопочуття і здоров’я працівників поліції. Одним із перспективних напрямів педагогічної роботи з курсантами є подальше удосконалення тренінгу емоційного інтелекту та його впровадження у навчальну роботу. Це сприятиме поліпшенню професійної підготовки курсантів як майбутніх офіцерів поліції України.The article highlights the importance of the formation of emotional intelligence of students as future police officers to ensure the effectiveness of their official duties. It is noted that one of the features of the professional activities of law enforcement officers is that this activity takes place in an aggressive social environment, that is, it is aimed at solving various social conflicts, and, therefore, is accompanied by an elevated emotional background, a surge of emotions both in the conflict participants and the police. It is shown that the inability of police officers to manage their emotions, to understand the emotions of other people and to control them, that is, the insufficient formation of emotional competence, which is based on emotional intelligence, has a negative impact on the performance of law enforcement officers’ professional actions. Therefore, law enforcement officers’s professional knowledge should include knowledge about the emotional sphere of a person, the influence of emotions on human behavior in conflict situations, and emotional stability and the ability to control one’s own emotions and emotions of other people belong to professionally significant personal qualities, that is, emotional intellect There are four groups of abilities in the structure of emotional intelligence: self-understanding, self-regulation, social skills (influence, suggestion, motivation), empathy (the ability to understand the emotional state of a partner in communication). Emotional intelligence is formed and developed in the process of activity and communication, and the level of its development depends on the features of the organization of these activities. It is proved that the rational organization of educational, cognitive and practical activities of cadets should be carried out taking into account the psychological patterns of learning educational information, the formation of high-quality knowledge, skills, abilities and personality traits; of particular importance is the training of emotional intelligence. Further improvement of emotional intelligence training is one of the promising areas for improving the training of future police officers in Ukraine.Рассмотрена сущность понятия «эмоциональный интеллект». Определено его влияние на развитие эмоциональной и профессиональной компетентностей курсантов как будущих сотрудников полиции и эффективность их профессиональной деятельности. Указано, что рациональная организация учебно-познавательной деятельности способствует качественному формированию и развитию у будущих работников полиции эмоционального интеллекта как составной части их профессиональной компетентности.Это положительно влияет на результаты практической профессиональной работы правоохранителей с разными категориями населения, а также на самочувствие и здоровье работников полиции. Одним из перспективных направлений педагогической работы с курсантами есть дальнейшее совершенствование тренинга эмоционального интеллекта и его внедрение в учебную работу. Это будет способствовать улучшению профессиональной подготовки курсантов как будущих офицеров полиции Украины.
