Гендерна комунікація: виклики і перспективи

Abstract

Досліджено особливості гендерної комунікації у сучасному постіндустріальному суспільстві з позицій взаємодії між статями та формування тенденції вживання гендерно маркованої лексики. Акцентовано увагу на тому, що побудова гендерної комунікації вимагає усвідомленості, відкритості та готовності адаптуватися до різних комунікативних стилів. Вона включає визнання гендерних відмінностей, подолання стереотипів, створення інклюзивного середовища та постійний розвиток своїх комунікативних навичок. Це сприяє не лише ефективнішому спілкуванню, але й створенню гармонійних та рівноправних взаємодій у різних контекстах, формуванню гендерно чутливого середовища – освітнього, професійного тощо.

The present article dwells upon the scientific interest in the essence and content of communication, its role in social life, which is determined by the general change in the place and role of communication and information technologies in various social spheres, by the intensive development of means of communication, including mass communication. The present research highlights the peculiarities of the ratio of «masculine» and «feminine» in the modern world from the point of view of an interdisciplinary approach. Much attention is paid to the investigation of the essence of gender communication in the post-industrial society, which acquires the characteristics of rapid change, acceleration of social time, striving for individualization and recognition of equal rights and freedoms. It was determined that the issue of gender studies is currently gaining significant relevance, which is connected with the change of worldview, the transformation of society, the change of social roles and the importance of social institutions in the life of society. The researchers discussed the formation of a personʼs identity (gender, national, civic, etc.) promotes selfawareness, knowledge of oneself and one’s social role. The authors note that gender communication is based on the study of how gender influences the ways of communication between people; it covers the analysis of the meanings of verbal and non-verbal communication between men and women, as well as the infusion of gender roles and stereotypes into communicative practices. The principles of gender-sensitive communication for development, adopted by UNDP in 2018, are analyzed. In the scientific research, the authors emphasize that gender communication requires awareness, openness and readiness to adapt to different communication styles. It includes the recognition of gender identities, the elimination of stereotypes, the creation of an inclusive environment and the steady development of one’s communicative skills. This is not without effective fusion, but also the creation of harmonious and equal interactions in different contexts, a gender-sensitive environment formation – social, professional, etc.

Исследованы особенности гендерной коммуникации в современном постиндустриальном обществе с позиций взаимодействия между полами и формирование тенденции употребления гендерно маркированной лексики. Акцентировано внимание на том, что построение гендерной коммуникации требует осознанности, открытости и готовности адаптироваться к разным коммуникативным стилям. Она включает признание гендерных различий, преодоление стереотипов, создание инклюзивной среды и постоянное развитие своих коммуникативных навыков. Это способствует не только более эффективному общению, но и созданию гармонических и равноправных взаимодействий в разных контекстах, формированию гендерно чувствительной среды – образовательной, профессиональной и т.д.
