Анотація
Проаналізовано теоретичний стан розробленості проблеми ціннісної сфери поліцейських у працях вітчизняних та закордонних вчених. Встановлено особливості ціннісної та життєвих сфер у поліціантів, які мають різний рівень професійного самоздійснення.
The article provides a theoretical overview and results of an empirical study of the value sphere in the representatives of the socionomic profession - the policemen. The requirements of professional activity include the diverse development of values and spheres of life of a modern law enforcers, who performs a socially important function - to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens. Researchers agree that the values of police officers are the highest priority, which presents the leading motivational trends in their professional activities. The scientific facts presented in the psychological literature show that scholars are actively studying the hierarchy of professional values of police officers, but, at the same time, the specifics of the impact of values on the development of police officers in professional and life perspective remain insufficiently covered. The values of specialists in the field of policing are the basis for understanding their own purpose and guidelines in understanding the future prospects in the profession and increasing professional competence. The aim of the article is to determine the features of the value sphere of police officers with different levels of professional self-fulfillment (PS). The subjects were 72 police officers, who were divided into three groups according to the level of professional self-fulfillment. With the help of "Questionnaire of professional self-fulfillment" by O. Kokun using cluster analysis on the principle of k - means, groups of respondents with low, medium and high levels of professional self-fulfillment were formed. Low levels of PS were found in 24 persons, medium levels were diagnosed in 28 persons, and high levels of PS were found in 20 persons. Police officers with a low level of professional self-fulfillment (first group) and with a high level of professional involvement (second group) were involved in further research. A questionnaire of terminal values by I. Senin was used to solve the set empirical problem. It is empirically proven that the low level of PS is reflected in the focus of police officers on preserving their individuality, freedom, authenticity, independence and uniqueness, united with a strong need for financial stability, combined with less value of the profession, which requires comprehensive dedication. The high level of the PS is expressed in the desire to achieve authority, form and maintain a positive image of the modern police officer, who is the key to ensuring high standards in police practice and a mechanism for building public trust. For police officers with high level of PS , the main value factors are the desire to achieve professional success and the ability to develop and improve their skills, which are enhanced in situations where the goal is achieved. The spheres of professional, family and social life, education and training are dominant in these subjects, while the respondents with low levels of PS are dominated by the spheres of professional, family life, access to education and training.
