Феномен відповідальності у зарубіжних наукових студіях

Abstract

Розглянуто проблему відповідальності як багатоаспектного психологічного феномену, який активно вивчається науковцями, що визначає різноманітність розуміння його змісту. Проаналізовано провідні теорії відповідальності у зарубіжних психологічних дослідженнях. Констатовано, що відповідальність є однією із сутнісних властивостей особистості, яка не тільки проявляється у конкретній діяльності, відносинах різного рівня, але й виступає внутрішньою умовою організації життя і діяльності людини, істотно впливає на особливості становлення особистості в цілому; а також сприяє ефективному перебігу процесів саморозвитку і життєздійснення особистості.The article deals with the problem of responsibility as a multidimensional psychological phenomenon that is actively studied by scientists, which determines the diversity of understanding of its content. The purpose of the article is to analyze the leading theories of responsibility in foreign psychological research. It is stated that responsibility is one of the essential traits of a person, not only manifests itself in specific activities, relationships of different levels, but also acts as an internal condition for organizing a person’s life and activities, significantly affects the characteristics of the formation of an individual as a whole; and also contributes to the effective flow of processes of self-development and life of the individual. The features of understanding the essence of responsibility in psychoanalysis and neo-Freudianism are considered (Z. Freud, K. Horney, G. Sullivan, E. Fromm). The specificity of the operationalization of the concept of "responsibility" in cognitive theories (J. Piaget, L. Kohlberg, K. Helkam), in which the formation of a person’s responsibility is inextricably linked with intellectual and moral development, and responsibility acts as a regulator of human moral behavior, is revealed. Attention is paid to the analysis of the problem of responsibility in the theory of social learning (Bandura, J. Rotter), in which responsibility is considered as a regulator of behavior. The angles of understanding responsibility in humanistic and existential psychology are defined (A. Maslow, K. Rogers, R. May, V. Frankl, I. Yalom), who consider the phenomenon of responsibility not only as a criterion for determining the norm, but also as one of the main tools of psychotherapy ... The views of modern foreign researchers on the conceptualization of the concept of "responsibility", in particular, in the context of professional behaviour. The conducted theoretical analysis of the problem of responsibility allows us to note that the consideration of this phenomenon is carried out in all modern directions of psychology, however, the understanding of this concept differs markedly depending on the context of consideration and the subject of research. The study of responsibility in the context of a certain life situation of a person, namely, as a specific psychological phenomenon in a situation of choice, is necessary not only for solving purely scientific and methodological problems, but also for solving specific cases in practical and applied psychology.Рассмотрена проблема ответственности как многоаспектного психологического феномена, активно изучаемого учеными, определяющего разнообразие понимания его содержания. Проанализированы ведущие теории ответственности в зарубежных психологических исследованиях. Констатировано, что ответственность является одним из сущностных свойств личности, которая не только проявляется в конкретной деятельности, отношениях разного уровня, но и выступает внутренним условием организации жизни и деятельности человека, оказывает существенное влияние на особенности становления личности в целом; а также способствует эффективному течению процессов саморазвития и жизнеосуществления личности.
