Foreign experience in the use of electronic criminal proceedings systems for investigation and trial

Abstract

Підкреслено, що враховуючи міжнародний досвід, доцільно застосовувати заочне провадження за умови наявності доказів, що обвинувачений переховується, а також дотримання міжнародних стандартів. В Україні слід поширити практику заочного провадження та забезпечити стабільність правоохоронної та судової системи, а також ефективну взаємодію з міжнародними організаціями у сфері розшуку осіб.It was emphasized that, taking into account international experience, it is advisable to use absentee proceedings provided that there is evidence that the accused is absconding, as well as compliance with international standards. Ukraine should expand the practice of absentee proceedings and ensure the stability of the law enforcement and judicial systems, as well as effective interaction with international organizations in the field of tracing persons.
